Company History

Combs Waterkotte grew from the criminal defense practices established by attorneys Christopher Combs and Steven Waterkotte. After beginning his legal career with another St. Louis criminal defense firm, Christopher Combs opened his own private practice in 2015. Steven Waterkotte operated and managed his own criminal defense firm for more than 13 years before the two attorneys joined forces. Their combined firm has since expanded from its St. Louis roots to represent clients throughout Missouri and Illinois, with additional offices in Kansas City, Branson, Belleville, and Chicago and a growing federal criminal defense practice.
