Based in multiple counties of the Pacific Northwest, Brewe Layman P.S. is a boutique family law firm.
We are currently seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our established and growing practice group.
This role provides exposure to a diverse range of family law matters while working alongside seasoned attorneys in a collaborative and supportive team environment. The firm's family law group works alongside each other regularly to discuss case strategy and share insights, and attorneys benefit from an open-door culture that encourages mentorship and professional development.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- At least 5+ years of family law litigation experience.
- Active membership and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to handle family law matters throughout all stages of representation.
- Ability to manage a variety of cases independently and confidently.
- Experience with dissolution, legal separation, parentage, guardianship, parenting plan modifications, support modifications, and/or domestic violence protection orders highly preferred.
- Experience with court appearances, discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trials.
- Familiarity with Snohomish & Skagit County family law practice and procedures.
- Experience in neighboring counties (King, Island, Whatcom, San Juan) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $125,000 - $200,000+ DOE

Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Washington.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Family Law preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with NetDocuments preferred.
